Eastern Michigan University Library is seeking an eight-month tenure track faculty librarian to fill the position of University Archivist. The Eastern Michigan University Archives supports the University’s dual mission of education and research by preserving and providing access to the records of enduring value which document the history, organization, policies and activities of the University. With support from new leadership in the library and partnering with key University departments, the ideal individual will promote the dynamic development and use of archival materials, special collections, and records management. This focus will enhance EMU’s strong ties to regional historical societies, EMU’s Historic Preservation program, and local library science programs.
