Duties and Responsibilities: The Records Analyst will assist the University Archivist in the administration of the University’s records management program, including appraisal, records retention and disposition scheduling, staff training, and management of the University Records Center. Develop and implement a campus-wide electronic records management program compliant with ISO 15489, using institutional repository software and modeled on the Open Archival Information System (OAIS).
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library, Information Management, History, Public History. MIS / MLIS with a concentration in records management or MA in related field with a concentration in records management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Demonstrated conceptual knowledge of computer networking and electronic records management principles. Knowledge of records management software systems. Knowledge of inter-relational databases and their use. Knowledge of digital conversion standards and processes. Strong analytical, presentation, written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills. Physical capability to perform all of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
The position is traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with one month off in the winter and one month off in the summer (.83 FTE position). The targeted prorated salary range is $27,999-$31,190.
