The MAA Scholarship and Grants Committee is now accepting applications for its 2016 Marilyn McNitt Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship funds a student to attend the Michigan Archival Association Annual Meeting, taking place in East Lansing, Michigan, June 16-17, 2016. The scholarship covers lodging for two nights and conference registration. The recipient will also receive a $150 stipend for travel costs and a one-year membership to MAA. The scholarship winner will be asked to write an article for the MAA newsletter, Open Entry, about their conference experience.
The scholarship is open to graduate students in an archival science program or related field. To apply, please submit a completed application form and essay to Sarah Roberts at firstname.lastname@example.org. (Essay guidelines are noted within the application.) The deadline for applications is April 1, 2016.
