Call for Nominations – Conference Coordinator

Elections for new Board members will be held at the MAA Business Meeting during this year’s MAA conference in Traverse City, held between June 15 and 16, 2017. While we will be voting on the following Board positions:

Secretary (2 year term)
Treasurer (2 year term)
Conference Coordinator (2 year term)
Member-at- Large #1 (3 year term)
Member-at-Large #2 (3 year term)

We have still received no nominations for Conference Coordinator. If you know ANYONE who would be interested in this position, please email MAA Nominating Committee Chair Christiane Evaskis-Garrett ( ASAP. If YOU are interested in the position, also include a short biography.

The membership can also nominate individuals for board positions at the annual meeting. The bylaws state that nominations must end two hours before the Business Meeting. Also per MAA by-laws, a petition must be presented in support of such nominations and must include signatures from at least 10 current MAA members in good standing.
