The deadline for submitting proposals for the spring Mid Michigan Digital Practitioners meeting has been extended to this Friday, February 3. Submission details at http://midmichdp.wordpress.com.
The Mid Michigan Digital Practitioners will convene for its next meeting March 23 and 24, at the campus of Wayne State University. The two day event will be sponsored by the Reuther Library and the Wayne State University Library. The event will bring together a wide range of professionals engaged in creating and curating digital collections in Michigan and the surrounding region, including librarians, archivists, museum curators, historians, and more.
Three workshops will be offered on the 23rd. In the morning will be a “Best Practices Exchange” hackathon; in the afternoon will be “Less Typing, More Fixing: An Introduction to Regular Expression,” and “APIs”.
The regular meeting will happen on March 24 with presentations, posters, and discussions.

Registration is open for the Mid-Michigan Digital Practitioners spring workshop and meeting on March 17-18, 2016, hosted by Grand Valley State University in Allendale. Our friends at Mid-Michigan Digital Practitioners (MMDP) have announced that there is still time to submit proposals for talks and posters for its next meeting, taking place March 18, 2016, at Grand Valley State University. MMDP brings together “a wide range of professionals engaged in creating and curating digital collections in Mid-Michigan and the surrounding region, including librarians, archivists, museum curators, historians, and more.” The MMDP Planning Group welcomes proposals from anyone but is particularly interested in proposals from smaller institutions and students.
