In June 2020, the MAA board unanimously voted to create a diversity, equity, and inclusion fund that would provide a $500 donation every three months to an organization, project, workshop or other opportunity that would benefit from such help. The Board’s intention with this fund is to fulfill our mission to “foster a collaborative and inclusive professional network” by supporting DEI initiatives, projects, and programs in Michigan archives, libraries, and museums.
