Northern Michigan University is seeking an Assistant Professor/Tenure Track 12 Month/ Metadata and Cataloging Librarian.

Brief Statement of Duties: Perform original and complex metadata treatment and authority work of library and archival materials in a variety of formats. Provide leadership and expertise for organizing print and digital collections (library, archives, institutional repository) and contribute to the development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures, and systems. As a member of the library faculty, this librarian will participate in collection development and instruction related to assigned academic departments. Faculty are expected to engage in professional development and/or scholarship and service. This is a campus-based position.
