Annual Meeting
Each spring the Michigan Archival Association sponsors a two-day meeting with sessions about issues of archival and historical concern. Held at sites throughout the state, meetings provide a convenient opportunity to network with colleagues. MAA’s Annual Business Meeting is also conducted at this time. MAA chooses annual meeting locations throughout the state, primarily rotating from north to south, so that all our members have an opportunity to attend. We are always open to suggestions; feel free to contact a board member for proposal information.
In 2023, the 63rd Michigan Archival Association Annual Meeting will be held Virtually on June 19-20, 2023. You can find out more by visiting the 2023 Annual Meeting page, and by subscribing to our blog to stay up to date with information on sessions, tours and the meeting program. A copy of the 2023 Program can be downloaded here.
Fall Workshop
Each fall the Michigan Archival Association sponsors a workshop to promote professional development in the archival community. Information about upcoming Fall Workshops is shared on our website, listserv, and Facebook page.
